About the Annual Electors’ Meeting
Convened under Section 5.27 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Annual Electors’ Meeting is a statutory opportunity for Shire residents, ratepayers, and electors to:
- Receive and consider the Shire of Toodyay’s 2024–2025 Annual Report
- Raise any general business or community matters
The meeting is open to all electors, ratepayers, and residents of the Shire of Toodyay.
Who Can Attend & Vote
- All electors and residents of the Shire may attend—no invitation or prior approval required.
- Voting: Each elector present is entitled to one vote per matter but voting is not compulsory.
Attendance Registration
Registration is required on arrival. Attendees are asked to sign in before the meeting commences. The Shire may publish specific procedures or forms—see the Shire website for updates.
Submitting Questions
Electors wishing to ask questions at the meeting are strongly encouraged to lodge questions in writing by noon on 9 February 2026 (the day of the meeting). This assists with preparation and accurate responses.
